The Search Committee has been working with JDG Associates, a DC-area executive search firm, to identify AARST’s next Executive Director. JDG has posted the announcement. Persons wishing to be considered for the position should apply through JDG’s site.
The Executive Director, as the CEO of the Association, has the primary responsibility for implementing AARST policies and directives as set by the Board of Directors. Chief amongst these are ensuring effective management of the organization; adherence to AARST’s mission, bylaws, policies, and procedures; developing and implementing appropriate processes and procedures to implement the strategic plan, and supporting the industry stakeholder councils. The Executive Director serves as the public face and spokesperson for the association.
Director of Proficiency
AARST seeks an individual who has experience with a personnel certification/proficiency program and oversight of training and examination systems to direct the National Radon Proficiency Program. The Director of Proficiency will oversee, develop, and administer all strategic and operational aspects of NRPP, an ANAB-Accredited ISO 17024 personnel credentialing program.
