• SPRUCE-432: Radon and the Law: Ethics, Regulations and Liability

• This four-hour afternoon course covers the standards and processes associated with measuring radon in multifamily, schools, and large buildings. Through case studies and discussion, students will learn the logistics and details of doing radon measurement work in multifamily, schools, and large building settings and the application of ANSI/AARST MA-MFLB 2023 to projects of this size.

• SPRUCE-435: Standards-Compliant Radon Resistant New Construction (RRNC)
• This 4-hour afternoon CE course covers the design and installation of standards-compliant Radon Resistant New Construction systems for residential, commercial, and multifamily projects. Participants will review current ANSI/AARST guidance, including RRNC principles for residential construction and the ANSI/AARST CC-1000 New Construction Standard for commercial and multifamily applications. Topics include building science, code considerations, installation best practices, risk reduction, and business opportunities in radon-resistant construction.

Risk Ready: Communicating Clearly When Trust is on the Line

Synopsis: When uncertainty rises, communications can either build trust or create confusion. This practical 4-hour course teaches participants how to communicate clearly, credibly, and compassionately during risk or crisis situations. Attendees will practice message mapping, stakeholder engagement, media response, and misinformation correction using realistic scenarios. By the end, participants will leave with tools for shaping public messages, answering difficult questions, and assisting audiences in knowing what to do next.
